Everglades Bengals
|
" The Hatfield Bloodline " Everglades Bengal cattery began in 1987 when I put an extremely noisy 'tortie' domestic female with my Asian Leopard Cat, Stony. She had 5 kittens; we kept one and named her Asian Nina. This was the beginning of the Hatfield Bengal line. At that time, I was very involved in the keeping and breeding of endangered felines such as the beautiful ocelot and thus never bred Stony again. Stony lived a pampered life with me for a few more years and died of natural causes.
Soon, I became much more interested in the Bengal breed with it's beautiful velvet-soft coat and
mischievous ways so reminiscent of the wildcat, but yet a sweet domestic cat. Over the years I have kept a few of
Asian Nina's daughters and granddaughters; I have also acquired other males and females with excellent pedigrees to make Everglades Bengals a well diversified cattery with excellent
Pedigrees. The kittens born here are lovely lively little ones that are well socialized. There are litters at various times of the year and of a wide variety of colors and coat patterns from F3 to SBT, spotted, marble and rosetted. Please feel free to call or email with any questions about them, or if you just want to talk about Bengals. |
